Set on a wooded lakefront site in northern Wisconsin, this new-build project is an outbuilding designed as a “trophy chalet” to complement the existing main house and guest house. The standalone structure functions as a private lounge and secure display space for a curated collection of hunting trophies and firearms, conceived as a place for gathering, storytelling, and quiet reflection within the landscape.

The owners, members of the International Order of St. Hubertus, are deeply committed to land conservation and ethical hunting practices. The design seeks a balance of rustic character and tailored detailing, with carefully integrated lighting, material selection, and environmental control appropriate for a four-season climate.

The scope includes full architectural services from concept through construction documentation.

Construction to begin spring 2026.
